This Easy Mustard is great in a pinch or anytime! Stop buying it at the store!!! it’s easy and delicious.

Ingredients and Variations

Ingredients: Colemans dry mustard powder, water, white vinegar, garlic powder, ground turmeric powder, onion powder, salt, white pepper, and paprika.

Variations: Beer can replace water for a beer mustard, honey can be added for a sweet mustard, cayenne can be added for more kick, Herbs can be added for more flavor, tarragon is great in this! Change up the vinegar add apple cider vinegar for a more fruity flavor, add rice wine vinegar or a champagne vinegar.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/4 cup Vinegar

  • 1/3 cup dry mustard powder

  • 1/4-1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp ground turmeric

  • 1/4 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp white pepper

Directions

  • Pour water and vinegar into a saucepan and whisk in mustard and spices while it’s cold, turn heat on medium and cook until bubble form around the edge, turn heat to low and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes until mustard thickens. Cool and pour into an airtight jar. Store in refrigerator for up to 6 months.
