Nothing beats a fresh ranchero on your chile rellenos or your morning omelette!
Fresh Ranchero Sauce

8 8 Plum tomatoes
1/2 1/2 Onion, medium (or 1 small), peeled
6 Cloves 6 Garlic, peeled
3 3 Jalapeños
2 tsp 2 Powdered chicken bouillon
2 tsp 2 Mexican oregano
1 tsp 1 Cumin, ground
1/2 tsp 1/2 Salt
2 Cups 2 Water
2 Tbsp 2 Oil
Directions
- Char tomatoes, onion, garlic and jalapeños over a flame, grill or on broil. Do NOT burn.
- Drop everything but the oil in a blender and puree.
- Heat oil in pan on medium heat, pour in sauce and cook 15 minutes.
