Crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle and perfectly delicious!
Detroit Style Pizza Dough

1 cup Warm water
1 1/2 tsp Instant Yeast
1 tsp sugar
2 1/4 cups Bread flour
1 1/2 tbsp Diastatic dry malt powder
3/4 tsp Salt
1 tbsp EVOO + more fore the bowl
Directions
- To your mixing bowl, pour in warm water, sprinkle yeast and sugar over top, stir and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Ad in the rest of the ingredients and mix using dough hook, start your timer for 7 minutes just after the dough comes together and let your mixer knead the dough 7 minutes.
- Add s tablespoon of EVOO to a bowl, roll your dough ball around in it coating the whole thing. Cover and let rise 30 minutes. I set mine in the oven with the light on.
- Oil a quarter sheet pan and place your dough on it, stretching your dough to fit the pan. Add cheese and toppings and sauce in 2 lines across pizza
- Bake at 425° for 15 minutes or until golden brown and crust is cooked through.
