You can cook this in a crockpot, oven or Intant Pot! Easy & delicious with only a few ingredients! Great for weeknights!

3 lbs round steak
1 15 oz can diced tomatoes
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 to 2 envelopes onion soup mix or beefy onion
1 1/2 Tsp powdered beef bouillon
1/2 Tsp fresh cracked black pepper
8 oz Water
12 oz bag frozen pearl onions
Crockpot – Toss it all in a crockpot and cook on high 4 hours. Add a 12 oz bag frozen pearl onions and cook on low another 2 hours. Thicken with a cornstarch slurry (1/4 cup water and 1 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch) if you like a thicker gravy.
Oven – Preheat oven to 350 degrees f. Dredge steak in flour, salt & pepper and fry in hot pan with 2 Tbsp oil, searing on each side 2 minutes. Put directly into a 9 x 13 baking dish, add the rest of the ingredients, cover with foil and bake @ 350 degrees f, 45 minutes, uncover and bake another 15 minutes until meat is tender.
Instant Pot – Drop it all in an and pressure cook 35 minues.
Serve with mashed potatoes, rice or pasta!
