Beef Rib Rub

This Beef Rib Rub is perfect for your holiday standing rib roast but is great on any beef cut, roast or even burgers! Get some made up and on your shelf for your Holiday meals!

Ingredients and Variations

Ingredients: Rosemary, Kosher salt, mustard powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, ground black pepper and cayenne.

Variations: Use a very course grind of pepper, add some red pepper flakes for extra kick if desired, add butter powder, extra garlic for a more garlic forward flavor if desired, add some horseradish powder if desired.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Rosemary

  • 2 tsp Kosher or sea salt

  • 1 tsp mustard powder

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne

  • 1 tbsp ground black pepper

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight jar for up to 1 year.
  • Coat beef with butter or olive oil and rub a good amount or spice mix on the meat, set in refrigerator overnight uncovered, cook meat the next day according to your recipe directions.
