Cabbage & Ham Soup

This cabbage and ham soup is so good and reminiscent of my childhood “Boiled Dinner”. Who doesn’t love a good boiled dinner! This can be made in your slow cooker, Instant Pot or on the stovetop and is a great use of leftover holiday ham.

Ingredients and Variations

Ingredients: Chop and drop! In this soup goes cabbage, ham, red potatoes, onions, carrots, celery, ham stock, water, onion powder, garlic powder, parsley, paprika, powdered chicken bouillon, salt and pepper.

Variations: You can make this low carb by leaving out the carrots and potatoes and adding in extra greens like spinach and kale. You can add zucchini, green beans, mushrooms, yellow squash…. any old veg you have lying around! I ham stock here but you can change it out for any stock you like.
