Caramel Apple Bread Pudding in the Crockpot!

You heard it right folks! The crockpot! Easy, peasy and delicious!! A definate must try and this would be a great Halloween warm you up dish after an evening of trick-or-treating with the littles.

8 Cups of day old bread, cubed (about 1 loaf)

4 eggs

2 Cups heavy cream

1 Tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 Tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 Tsp fresh ground nutmeg

1/4 Cup granulated sugar

1/4 Cup butter, melted

Pinch of salt

1 Bag of caramels, the little cubes you have to unwrap

3 Large apples, peeled, cored, seeded and chopped

Spray your crockpot with non stick cooking spray or use a liner.

Whisk togther eggs, cream, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, butter and salt. Fold in bread cubes. Fold in caramels and apples.

Pour into prepared crockpot. Set on high for 3 hours, or until center is cooked through.

Serve warm with ice cream, caramel sauce, or your favorite sauce!
