Chili Soup Mix

This Chili Soup Mix is as delicious as it is versatile, you will love having this on your shelf ready to go, take it to work for lunches, besides, who wants to dredge through the snow for an over priced, greasy burger for lunch!!

Ingredients and Variations

Ingredients: Freeze dried beef cubes, freeze dried sausage, dried onions, freeze dried black beans, cornstarch, onion powder garlic powder, chili seasoning, cayenne, tomato powder, beef bouillon powder, salt and pepper.

Variations: Add bean or not to add beans, that is the question!! Any protein you like can be used, freeze dried ground beef, freeze dried ground turkey or pork, dried tomatoes and bell peppers can be added as well as dried refried bean mix. Add extra cayenne or chipotle powder for more heat if desired.

A delicious homemade meaty chili in minutes!

Ingredients

  • 2 cup freeze dried beef cubes

  • 1 cup freeze dried sausage

  • 1 cup freeze dried black beans *optional

  • 3/4 cup cornstarch

  • 1/2 cup tomato powder

  • 11/2 tbsp beef bouillon powder

  • 1 tbsp onion powder

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder

  • 1/4 cup chili seasoning mix

  • 1/4 – 1/2 tsp cayenne *optional

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight container for up to a year.
  • To Use: Add 1/4 cup mix to 1 1/4 cups cold water. bring to a boil and simmer for 7-10 minutes until beef and beans are well hydrated as they will take the longest.
