Ingredients and Variations

Ingredients: Tomato powder, Italian Seasoning, Garlic Powder, onion powder, Kosher salt and pepper.

Variations: A spicier version like arrabbiata sauce can be made adding cayenne and red chili flakes if desired. Extra herbs can also be added if you prefer a more basil forward flavor, add extra dried basil, more garlic can also be added if you prefer, tailor your pizza sauce to your own tastes!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup tomato powder

  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning

  • 1 tsp Kosher or sea salt

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder

  • 2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper

Directions

  • Mix well and store in an airtight jar for up to a year.
  • To Use: Add 1/4 cup mix to 1 cup hot water or broth, whisk well until smooth. Add a tablespoon of olive oil also if desired. Serve over pasta, spread on uncooked pizza crust or serve on the side of garlic knots or bread sticks!
