Ingredients

  • 1 lb 1 Ground beef

  • 1 tbsp 1 Worcestershire

  • 1 tsp 1 Onion powder

  • 1 tsp 1 Garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 Kosher salt

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 Fresh cracked black pepper

  • 6 oz 6 Mushrooms, cleaned and sliced

  • 1 1 Small onion, diced

  • 2 cloves 2 Garlic

  • 2 tbsp 2 Butter

  • 1 box 1 Frozen puff pastry, thawed overnight in refrigerator

  • 4 tbsp 4 Garlic and fine herb Boursin cheese

  • 1 1 Egg, beaten

Directions

  • Over low heat, cook onion and mushroom in butter until soft. Add garlic, salt, pepper and cook until it is no longer watery.
  • Put into food processor and chop fine. Set aside to cool.
  • Into the beef, add salt, pepper, Worcestershire, garlic powder, onion powder and mushroom mixture. Mix well and form into 4 equal patties.
  • Roll puff pastry sheet out slightly, cut in half, put a tbsp of the Boursin cheese in the middle of both halves, place a beef patty on each, wrap pastry around beef patty and set on a sheet pan. Repeat with the second sheet of puff pastry and beef patties.
  • Brush wellingtons with beaten egg.
  • Using the tip of a knife, pierce the tops of each 4 times creating vents.
  • Cook in the air fryer at 350° 36 minutes or bake in oven @ 375° 45 – 50 minutes until golden brown.
