Hickory Smoked Tomato Salt

This version of smoked tomato salt is super easy and the recipe can be changed around to make any flavored salt, smoked. This smoked tomato slat is sure to add great flavor to anything! Just sprinkle it on top of meats, salads, grilled vegetables, french fries, sandwiches or pasta dishes.

Ingredients and Variations

Hickory smoked salt, tomato powder and dried parsley. Use your favorite smoked salt flavor. Change out the tomato powder for another vegetable powder with a smoky flavor! Add Italian seasoning to the tomato powder for a smoked pizza seasoning. Make it lower sodium by adding less salt and more tomato powder.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup hickory smoked salt

  • 1/4 cup tomato powder

  • 1 tsp dried parsley

Directions

  • Mix and store in an airtight container for up to a year.
