Homemade Wheat Thins!

Homemade crackers are the perfect solution to cracker shortages and these wheat thins rock! They are so good, you may purchase another box of wheat thins from the store!

Inrgedients and Variations

Flour: I like to use half wheat flour and half all purpose four but you can use all wheat flour.

Fat: I like to use unsalted butter in my cracker recipes, but shortening works great too.

The rest: Regular table salt and sea salt flakes are used here but you can use any salt preferred. Sweet or mild paprika are best. Honey sweetens the whole deal here but you can sub it out for granulated sugar, brown sugar, maple syrup or any sugar substitute you prefer.

Variations: Add some vegetable powder to the dough or sprinkle some on the tops with salt before baking. this is a good chance to use some vegetable powder you may have dehydrated. Some example are: Tomato powder with added Italian seasoning, garlic ad parmesan cheese, salsa powder, jalapeno and cheddar powder, white cheddar powder, supper greens, mixed vegetables, cheeses and or other seasonings.
