Keto Nut Thins (Crackers)

Very low in carbs, these Keto Nut Thins are the perfect snack, as they are very low in carbs and super delicious! Customize these to your liking, use your favorite nut, the cheese you prefer and the spices and herbs you like.

Ingredients and variations

Ingredients: Raw almonds, extra sharp cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, mustard powder, baking soda, salt and pepper.

Variations: Pecans and smoked gouda cheese, walnuts and blue cheese, pistachios and goat cheese, etc… Any combo you like add in fresh rosemary or thyme, use your favorite spices. Almonds and parm with extra garlic powder and Italian herbs.

Add seeds! pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, flax, or any other healthy seeds!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw almonds

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese ( I used extra sharp cheddar and mozzarella.

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/4-1/2 tsp cayenne

  • 1 tsp mustard powder

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 2 tbsp ground flax seeds

Directions

  • heat oven to 375°
  • Pulse almonds, baking soda and seasonings together until crumbled, add cheese and pulse until it forms a dough the sticks when a ball is made.
  • add teaspoons of dough to a parchment lined baking sheet and flatten firmly.
  • Bake at 375° for 10 minutes or until golden brown, let cool on tray before removing them.
