Thanksgiving Meatballs

Thanksgiving Meatballs are a budget friendly and small batch version of Thanksgiving. These have all the flavors of Thanksgiving wrapped into a delicious, juicy turkey meatball. These can be made ahead and frozen in gravy or cranberry sauce.

Ingerdients and Variations

Ingredients: ground turkey with white and dark meat, prepared stuffing, dried onion, bread crumbs with old bay, eggs, onion powder, poultry seasoning, rubbed sage, salt and pepper.
Variations: Add rehydrated dried cranberries, add a chopped jalapeño if desired, add fresh herbs, serve them in cranberry sauce mixed with a bottle of chili sauce and brown sugar, add your own spin with the Thanksgiving flavors you like.

Ingredients

  • 1 Lb ground turkey

  • 1 1/4 Cup prepared stuffing

  • 1/4 Cup Breadcrumbs

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 Tsp onion powder

  • 1/4 Cup dried onion, minced

  • 1 Tsp salt

  • 1/2 Tsp pepper

  • 1/2 Tsp poultry seasoning

  • 1/4-1/2 Tsp rubbed sage

  • 4 Tbsp olive oil

Directions

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • mix ground turkey with all seasonings add in eggs, cooled prepared stuffing and breadcrumbs. Mix well and roll into meatballs keeping them all the same size.
  • Drizzle 2 tbsp of oil onto a sheet pan and lobe meatballs up on top, drizzle top of meatballs with the remaining oil and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25-30 minutes until golden, remove from tray and place into gravy or cranberry sauce, serve hot.
