Country Gravy Mix

Country gravy mix is essential to survival! This base can be used for so much! Add cooked sausage for sausage gravy, make the gravy with bacon grease and add cooked bacon for saw mill gravy, as any type of cheese for cheese sauce, use for a cream soup base and add cheese and broccoli for broccoli soup or potatoes for potato soup. This is nice to have on your shelf for quick breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Ingredients an Variations

Ingredients: All purpose flour, cornstarch, dry milk powder, onion powder, poultry seasoning, salt and fresh cracked black pepper.

Variations: Gluten free flour can be substituted for the all purpose, but extra cornstarch may be needed for thickening.

The spices can always be changed. If I have used something here you don’t like, switch it out for something you do like or simply leave it out all together. Salt to taste.
