Mincemeatballs

Yup, you read it correct! So good, I would eat the whole pan! I used my home canned mincemeat jam for this and they are amazing!

Meatballs

1/2 lb Ground beef

1/2 lb Ground pork

2 Large eggs

1 Tsp ground black pepper

1 Tsp salt

1 Cup crushed crispy fried onions

Mix all together and form 1 inch meatballs.

Sear them in a hot skillet on all sides with a tablespoon of butter, remove from pan ans set aside.

Sauce

1 Cup apple cider (I use mulled)

1/2 Cup mincemeat jam

Mincemeat jam recipe

2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar

1/4 Tsp salt

In the same pan you seared the meatballs in, add all ingredients and stir until combined. Add all the meatballs back in with sauce, cover, turn the heat to low and simmer 15 minutes turning meatballs to coat in sauce every few minutes.
