Vegan “Parmesan Cheese”

Vegan parmesan cheese can be made several different ways, but this version is easy, takes very few ingredients and makes a delicious topping over anything!

Ingredients ans Variations

Ingredients: Bread crumbs, Braggs nutritional yeast, garlic powder, olive oil, salt and fresh cracked black pepper.

Variations: You can use coconut or avocado instead of olive. Brewers yeast can also be used. Garlic powder and pepper can be left out if desired.

A delicious and easy cheese replacement!

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp 1 extra virgin olive oil

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 bread crumbs

  • 4 tsp 4 Braggs nutritional yeast

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 salt

  • 1/4 tsp 1/4 fresh cracked black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp 1/4 garlic powder

Directions

  • In a skillet on medium – low heat, add the oil and bread crumbs. Toast lightly stirring constantly, for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in seasonings and immediately remove from hot pan.
  • Sprinkle over pasta, veggies, casseroles….
