Chili lime sauce in a hurry!
Chili Lime Freezer Roux

Ingredients
1/3 lb Salted butter, softened
2/3 cup All purpose flour
1 tbsp Chili lime seasoning
2 tsp Garlic powder
Directions
- Whisk it all together until well incorporated.
- Prepare a cookie sheet with parchment paper and put down tablespoons of roux,. Freeze for 1 hour.
- Label a freezer bag , add in frozen roux, remove air and freeze up to 6months.
- To use: Add 1 roux to 1/4 cup broth or milk, bring to a boil until thickened. Add veg and 2 oz of cheese or 2 tbsp heavy cream if you like.
