Easy Asian Style Baked Salmon

This delicious salmon recipe takes a shortcut with the use of orange marmalade home canned or store bought, this dish is so good you will make it every week!!

Ingredients and Variations

Ingredients: Salmon, blood orange marmalade, soy sauce, sriracha sauce, garlic, garlic powder. onion powder, ground ginger, extra virgin olive oil, salt and fresh ground black pepper.

Variations: this would be great with the fish of your choice, you can use regular orange marmalade, (home canned or store bought) reduced sodium soy sauce or liquid aminos, leave out the spices you don’t like and the sriracha is optional.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 lbs 1-2 Salmon fillet, bones removed

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 orange marmalade (I use blood orange)

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp 2 extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 tsp 2 toasted sesame oil

  • 3 cloves 3 garlic, minced

  • 1 ttsp 1 sriracha sauce *optional

  • 1 tsp 1 garlic powder

  • 1 tsp 1 onion powder

  • 1 tsp 1 ground ginger

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 salt

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 fresh ground black pepper

  • 3 3 scallions , chopped

  • 1 tbsp 1 toasted sesame seeds

Directions

  • mix all the ingredients together except green onions and sesame seeds. Place salmon in a 9 x 13 baking dish and pour the marinade over. refrigerate 1 to 2 hours.
  • heat oven to 375°
  • bake salmon in marinade at 375° for 15 to 18 minutes.
  • Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  • sprinkle with green onion and toasted sesame seeds to serve.
