Spiced Coffee

This spiced coffee is as delicious as it is festive, great for the entire holiday season!! Perfect for Thanksgiving and Christmas morning! Serve it after dinner with dessert! This spiced coffee is easily made with your own coffee and spices from your cabinet.

Ingredients and Variations

Ingredients: Coffee, Cinnamon chips/stick, whole cloves, fresh ginger or dried ground, and orange peel.

Variations: Use your favorite coffee, spices can be changed up and any dried ground spice you like can be used as well as dried orange peel, or you can use fresh orange peel and fresh ginger.

Autumn in your coffee!

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp 4 ground coffee or as much as you like

  • 6 cups 6 filtered water

  • 1 strip 1 orange peel (2-3 inches)

  • 1 tbsp 1 cinnamon chips or 2 sticks

  • 1 tsp 1 whole cloves

  • 1 nub 1 fresh ginger (2 inch), sliced or 1 tsp ground

Directions

  • Put orange peel and spices (break up 1 cinnamon stick if using sticks and save one for your cup) into coffee filter with coffee.
  • Brew coffee as normal.
  • Add sugar and cream if you desire!
