Basic Freezer Meatloaf

This meatloaf recipe is enough to make two loaves and is freezer friendly! Meatloaf is great to have on hand, oven ready. This recipe can also be used to make salisbury steaks.

Ingredients and Variations

Ingredients: Ground beef, dried parsley, dried onion, Worcestershire sauce, eggs, saltine crackers, onion powder, garlic powder, Mushroom powder plus, Vegeta, salt, papper, and half and half.

Variations: Any ground meat can be used instead of beef. You can sub out the crackers for bread crumbs, Cheez Its or a gluten free option. An egg substitute can also be used as well as unsweetened cashew milk. Seasonings are completely up to you!

Makes 2 meatloaves

Ingredients

  • Meatloaf
  • 1 1/2 lbs. 1 1/2 ground beef

  • 3 3 large eggs

  • 1 sleeve 1 saltine crackers

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 half and half

  • 1 tsp 1 dried parsley

  • 1 1/2 tsp 1 1/2 onion powder

  • 2 tsp 2 garlic powder

  • 1 1/2 tsp 1 1/2 salt

  • 1 tsp 1 fresh cracked black pepper

  • 1 1/2 tbsp 1 1/2 Mushroom Powder Plus *see recipe

  • 1/2 tbsp 1/2 Vegeta all purpose seasoning

  • 1 tbsp 1 Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp 1 dried onion

  • Sauce
  • 1/3 `cup 1/3 Ketchup

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 bbq sauce

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 brown sugar

Directions

  • Mix together all ingredients for the meatloaf. Place into 2 freezer safe loaf pans.
  • Whisk together sauce ingredients. Pour half the sauce over one meatloaf and the other half over the other.
  • Bake @ 375° for 1 hour uncovered.
  • Meatloaf will keep in the freezer for up to 6 months.
