Pimento Cheese

Pimento cheese isn’t just for crackers! Use it for grilled cheese sandwiches or replace a slice of cheese on you sandwich with pimento cheese, pit some on a burger or hot dog, use it on your baked potato put some in a Quish, slather it on toast or white bread for tea sandwiches, roll them into balls, freeze dip them in breadcrumbs or batter and deep fry them, So many uses, so little time! Ingredients and Variations

Ingredients: Cream cheese, mayo, pimentos, onion, extra sharp cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, salt and pepper.

Variations: Kick it up with some fresh or pickled jalapenos! Add any extra seasonings you like, also use your favorite cheese.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 tbsp mayo

  • 1 4 oz jar diced pimentos

  • 1 med onion, grated with juice

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/8 tsp pepper

  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 8 oz extra sharp cheddar cheese shredded, room temp

  • 8 oz Monterey Jack cheese, shredded, room temp

Directions

  • Mix cream cheese with mayo, onion and all seasonings. Mix well and add shredded cheeses and pimentos. Mix all well and store in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • Note: Do not use a food processor, its better chunky.
