Easy Fresh Salsa

Fresh salsa is the best and so versatile, good on everything!

Ingredients and Variations

Ingredients: Plum tomatoes, jalapenos, white onion, garlic, water, fresh lime juice, Mexican oregano, ground cumin and salt.

Variations: Any tomato can be used, hotter peppers can be used for extra heat if desired and jalapenos can be left out for no heat, cilantro can be added, lime juice can be adjusted for your taste.

Serving Suggestions: with tortilla chips, tacos, burritos, over eggs, over any meat, picadillo, over a chimichanga, etc…….

Ingredients

  • 4 4 tomatoes

  • 2 2 jalapeños

  • 4 cloves 4 grlic

  • 1/2 1/2 white onion

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 water

  • 2 2 juice of limes

  • 1 tsp 1 powdered chicken bouillon

  • 1 tspq 1 salt

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 ground cumin

  • 1 tsp 1 Mexican oregano

Directions

  • Bring a pot of water to boil.
  • carefully drrop in onion, tomato, jalapeño and garlic. cook until tomato peels start coming off.
  • place tomatoes, onions and garlic in blender, cut stems off jalapeños, then add them to blender. Add water and seasonings. Puree.
