Easy Korean Beef Freezer Meal

This Korean beef recipe is simple, as it uses ground beef and is a real time saver. Easy Korean beef is an easy freezer recipe and can be made in the slow cooker or Instant Pot. Serve over rice with some steamed broccoli! It’s delicious!

Ingredients and Variations

Ingredients: Ground beef, soy sauce, brown sugar, toasted sesame oil, ground ginger, garlic, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper.

Variations: You can use any ground meat you have on hand instead of beef. Use your favorite sugar substitute and the spices you like.

A delicious freezer / slow cooker meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb 1 ground beef

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 brown sugar

  • 2 tsp 2 toasted sesame oil

  • 1 tsp 1 ground ginger

  • 1/8 tsp 1/8 cayenne pepper

  • 1/4 tsp 1/4 salt

  • 1/4 tsp 1/4 fresh cracked black pepper

  • 4 cloves 4 garlic, minced

Directions

  • Put ground beef into a quart sized, leak proof freezer bag.
  • Whisk together the rest of the ingredients and pour over beef in freezer bag.
  • Freeze for up to 6 months.
  • To Cook: Thaw in refrigerator overnight and put into the slow cooker the next day on low for 6 hours, stirring to break up the beef occasionally. Drop into the IP frozen and cook for 25 minutes or cook on the stovetop.
