Mini “Pizzas”

Here is a blast from the past for you! I have updated the recipe slightly adding more flavor. My husband adores these!

1 Loaf cocktail rye bread

1 lb Breakfast sausage

1 lb Ground beef 1

l lb Velveeta cheese, cubed

1 Large onion, chopped

1 Tsp garlic powder

1 Tsp garlic salt

1 Tsp onion powder

1/4 Tsp cayenne pepper

1 Tbsp worcestershire

1 Tbsp amino acid

1 Tbsp prepared yellow mustard

1/2 Tsp ground black pepper

In a hot frying pan, add meats and onions. Brown meat until cooked through. Add all the seasonings and Velveeta cheese. Incorporate well and completely melt cheese.

Line a foil covered pan with cocktail rye breads and put a rounded tablespoon of topping on each bread and smooth out to edges.

You can put them directly under the broiler to brown or you can put the whole pan in the freezer for two hours, then pop them into a freezer bag and back into the freezer until you are ready for them!

To prepare from frozen stage, just put them under a broiler until they are golden brown and bubbly!
