Pork Egg Rolls

Better than takeout egg rolls!!!

Yields 16 – 18 rolls

Egg roll wrappers

1 lb Ground pork

4 Cloves garlic, minced

1 Tbsp fresh ginger, minced or 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger

4 Cups shredded cabbage

1/4 Cup shreded carrot

1/4 Cup green onion, sliced on the bias

1/4 Cup soy sauce

1/2 Tsp salt

1 Tsp sesame oil

Brown pork in 1 Tbsp oil. Add garlic and ginger, cook for 1 minute. Turn off heat and add cabbage, carrots, onions, soy, salt ans sesame oil. Set aside to cool.

Put 2 Tbsp pork filling on one end of the wrapper, fold sides up first then fold over filling. Use egg wash to seal side.

Fry on oil until brown or brush with oil (if desired) and cook in aire fryer on 400 degrees f, 10 minutes.

Serve with your favorite sauce! I serve mine with my home canned sweet chili jam, thinned out with a little water.
